Though it comes as a huge surprise to most of us but at the end it all makes sense.
I am a huge fan of The Covenant Christian Centre Church and has watched it grow from the old Herbert Macaulay Road to their permanent location. The Covenant Place at Iganmu.
It was announced by the Founding Pastor of Covenant Christian Centre, Pastor Poju on Sunday that the name has been changed to The Covenant Nation.
According to him, “The name; Covenant Christian Center is no more portraying what God has for us. We are no more center but a nation of priests where kings are produced.
He also made reference to Gen 12 :1, 2. “God told Abraham I will make you a nation. We are no more covenant centre but a nation. We are building a nation, institution.

In Gen 17:14, God also told Abraham that you are going to be a father of many nations and that is what is happening in this church.
When you have nation of priests it will produce kings.
“I’m sorry about this, because I may get some reactions but I have to announce this. We are technically changing the name of this church. We are moving to covenant nation. We are going to get logo to that later. We are nation, not center any more.

The clergyman also implored Nigerians at large to support the ongoing administration in the country to record success in 2020 and beyond. He said individuals have roles to play to ensure the nation is well built.
He also pray that all be well with Nigeria in 2020.
